A year ago we finish our classes at the University, then the idea of doing our thesis with LEGO begin. We called this our big project, as it is the project that will let us be Electronic Engineers in a special way... playing with LEGO at the same time that we learn and practice subjects like modelling, control systems, image processing, so on... Our university has so many rules... and we spent 6 months doing a document of the official "proposal" and description of what we wanted to do. On the other side we had to work (one of the requisites for the graduation is to be hired on a company to apply all the knowledge acquire, for minimun 6 months - when you are on 10 semester).
So like 6 months ago, we start officially our thesis; now we have lots of investigations and results, and as one of the main parts is to build a NXT Segway, we follow the experience of http://lejos-osek.sourceforge.net/ (thanks a lot!), and modify a little the design, mainly because we need to detect each robot with a camera so they have to had some kind of hats, each one with different colors. We let some pictures, as they are four robots, there are many servos, sensors, and LEGO bricks... ohhhhhh this is like entracy for LEGO heaven!
